Get unstuck quickly.
Start with the common fixes below. If you still need help, send a support request with the exact error and your ListMotive version.
Quick fixes
ListMotive looks stuck or an action did not finish
Keep the ListMotive tab open, confirm Chrome is online, then refresh ListMotive once. The v2 workflow preserves pending Facebook jobs and is designed to resume after service-worker restarts. Avoid repeatedly clicking the same action while it is already running.
I deleted and reinstalled the extension
Chrome may remove extension-local data when an extension is uninstalled. Re-enter your reusable ListMotive API key and seller defaults. Your server-side subscription can still be active even if local history was removed.
How do I see my ListMotive version?
Open chrome://extensions, locate ListMotive, and read the version shown on the extension card. Include that version in support requests.
License & access
My API key says expired or revoked
ListMotive periodically validates your subscription. If the key is expired or revoked, contact the person who issued your subscription. After the key is reactivated, the same reusable key can be validated again.
Netlify or my internet is temporarily unavailable
ListMotive includes a limited verified offline grace period for previously valid subscriptions. A known revoked or expired state is not overridden by the offline cache.
Should I send support my full API key?
No. Never send the full license key in a support form. Use only the last six characters if identification is needed.
Inventory import
The vehicle page will not import
Confirm the URL opens normally in Chrome and points to a specific vehicle detail page, not a general search-results page. Some dealership sites load data differently; include the vehicle URL in your support request if the page is public.
A vehicle field imported incorrectly
Edit the field before preparing the listing and report the public vehicle URL. ListMotive intentionally keeps the review step because dealership templates can change without notice.
Marketplace draft
Facebook did not fill one of the required fields
ListMotive verifies critical fields and should not mark the workflow successful when required information is missing. Review the field, try once more, and report the exact field if Facebook has changed its listing form.
Does ListMotive click Publish?
No. The final Marketplace publish action is intentionally left to the user.
Photos & plate covers
Automatic plate detection is uncertain
Use the manual plate placement control. ListMotive is designed to prefer review over placing a confident-looking cover on the wrong part of the vehicle when detection confidence is low.
Why are only 20 photos selected?
ListMotive caps the Marketplace selection at 20 photos and prioritizes usable vehicle images.
Renewals & sold workflow
What happens after the renewal interval?
The vehicle appears in the renewal queue. You can check the original inventory URL, prepare a renewal if it is active, or handle the sold workflow if the website suggests it is no longer available.
Why does a sold vehicle stay in the queue?
That is intentional. It remains visible until you update Facebook Marketplace and click Done, so the cleanup task does not silently disappear.
